Unforgettable wedding in Italy. We are experienced and professional wedding photographers used to
working for an exigent international clientele.
Contemporary wedding photography, reportage wedding photography, black and white
wedding photography. Wedding photo album in Tuscany, Florence, Venice, Rome, Lake Como.
We can reach any location in Italy at reduced cost.
Stefano Barberi, born in Italy to an American mother,
growing up between Milan and Boston, graduated from CAL ARTS,
California Institute of the Arts in film and video, and in Communication
Sciences in Bologna, DAMS.
He worked in advertising and in tv production as editor, director and author.
From 1990 to 2006 he produced and post-produced with his company - Nomad Films -
video for corporate clints such as ENI Group, Italian Main Energetic Company,
documentaries for RAI TV and independent films participating with his projects
to the international arena of indi-filmmakers.
In 2005 he started offering wedding photography and videos for an exigent
clientele, mainly foreign, on which Stefano cuts his films as a tailor.
In his wedding videos he mixes an impressionistic elegant poetic vision
with non-obtrusive realism. In the sound score he mixes a selection of
evocative beautiful music with real sound takes.
In his photography he mixes influences of beloved photojournalists such as
Cartier Bresson and Salgado with the aura of a cinematographic feel
that has many influences. With his rich cultural background he understands
and interprets well the demands of clients coming from abroad who search
a photographic diary of the day, full of emotions, depth and beautiful images.
He is presently living winters in Trancoso, Bahia, one of Brazil’s hippest
locations. What began 6 years ago as the building of an escape artist
retreat is today becoming a succesful eco-lodge, Soleluna casapousada.
Throughout all of my professional life I feel I've been continuously
crafting my skills as a storyteller through images. I often ask myself what
is this "unusual" job all about? And why am I so dedicated to it?
It is even a riddle to me. Tonight I may say that I am a passionate
seeker of beauty. Tomorrow that I am a producer of images that can recall
what we once knew and we are always longing for. Then I understand
that it all goes down to offering and sharing, and weddings are to me
the ultimate playground to share what I've been working on in a lifetime:
conveying emotion through images and their delicate, intriguing mysterious message...
